A person on a Bridport town centre rooftop has caused a large response from the emergency services.
Police, fire and ambulance services rushed to the emergency in South Street Bridport.
It is understood that the man has been airlifted to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries.
Road closures were in place for the safety of everyone involved whilst the emergency services brought the incident to its conclusion.
Having received a report at 10:30 am raising concern for the welfare of a person on the roof of a building in South Street, Bridport Police said they were “in attendance with the fire and ambulance services and road closures are in place for the safety of everyone involved while we work to bring the incident to a safe conclusion.” The Police added that that they thank everyone for their patience and understanding.
