In the Weymouth Beach Classic Volleyball Tournament Freddie Bialokoz and Issa Batrane won the men’s competition with Ola Wachowicz and Vilot Slabokova taking the women’s crown.
Two of our local football team’s were in pre-season action on Saturday afternoon, Weymouth hosted a Swindon Select team at the Bob Lucas Stadium while Dorchester travelled to play National League South club Salisbury.
The Terras emerged victors with Andreas Robinson scoring the only goal of the game, but the Magpies went down by 3 goals to nil.

Victor made a great debut at Totton on Tuesday night and followed it up another good showing today against a Swindon Town Xl.
Victor was recommended to manager Warren Feeney and now joins the Terras for the 25/26 season.
In the local Dorset Cricket Leagues, Dorchester hosted Broadstone at the Rec and despite having a late start due to the rain the County Town emerged victors by 34 runs, also in the Premier Division Bere Regis lost at Wimborne by 8 wickets.
In Premier two, Martinstown beat Christchurch at home by 4 wickets and Swanage overcame the challenge of visitors Blandford winning the match by 6 wickets.
In County Division one Portland Red Triangle went down by 7 Wickets at Witchampton.
