Neither of our 2 Southern Premier League Clubs emerged from the weekend’s competition with any points.
At the Bob Lucas Stadium the match between Weymouth and their visitors Berkhamsted remained goalless and it looked like the points would be shared, that was until the 5th minute of time added when the visitors snatched all 3 with a goal at the death.
Our Man at the Match said, “Weymouth didn’t deserve to lose this game, they were the better side over the 90 minutes playing some quality football and if any team looked likely to score it was the Terras, but it wasn’t to be, all that said Weymouth had a full set of substitutes for once so thing are on the up for the Terras”.
Dorchester went down by 2 goals to 1 away at Sholing with Jayden Crosbie netting the Magpies goal.
Portland United crossed the Solent to play Cowes Sports losing the Wessex League match by 2 goals to 1.
Bridport did record 1 Southwest Peninsular League East goal at home against Torridgeside scored by Sam Fisher, but it wasn’t enough to win and the result was drawn 1 goal apiece.
