Officers searching for a missing Weymouth man are appealing to the public for help to find him.
John Chamberlain, aged 75, was last seen at his home address in Gallwey Road at around 1am today, Wednesday 14 November 2018.
John is described as white, around five feet eight inches tall and of medium build with a bald head and greying hair and moustache. He was wearing a black coat, grey jeans and brown shoes and possibly had a maroon-coloured jumper on under his coat. John also smokes a pipe.
He has been known to use public transport to travel to other areas of the country including London, Reading, Swindon and Bath.
Chief Inspector Rob Chalkley, of Dorset Police, said: “John is vulnerable, gets confused easily and is at risk of seizures so we are becoming very concerned for his welfare and are extremely keen to locate him.
“We are carrying out extensive searches in the Weymouth area and I am appealing for anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts or who sees a man matching John’s description to contact us.
“I would also urge anyone travelling on public transport to keep an eye out for a man matching the description given.”
