Festivities begin with Christmas Time at Brewery Square

In the lead up to Christmas, Brewery Square is preparing to welcome families to the development with a range of free, festive events beginning on Saturday, November 24.

Skating In The Square is back for another year as part of a packed schedule of events, operating until Saturday, January 5. Tickets can be purchased in advance from skatinginthesquare.co.uk from November.

Christmas Time at Brewery Square is set to get all visitors into the Christmas spirit with a host of live music, mulled wine and roasted chestnuts, Skating In The Square, and the annual Brewery Square Christmas lights illumination.

The schedule for the opening night is as follows:
4pm – 5pm: Brass band

5pm – 5:30pm: Live performances start, lights switched on

5:40pm – 6:25pm: Live music with a special guest singer

6:30pm – 7:30pm: London Gospel Choir

7:30pm – 8pm: Father Christmas Disco

Speaking about the event, Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, said: “We can’t wait to share our festive activities with our visitors, shoppers and diners! Our stores will all be participating in a late-night opening on the Saturday night so visitors can enjoy some festive shopping after taking part in Skating In The Square with the whole family, as well as enjoying live music, and some spectacular performances.”
