Red for Archie – a fun run in memory of a special lad

Please listen to the audio track below…

Archie Miller sadly passed away in June 2024 at the age of 11 and in his memory Archie’s parents set up a charitable organisation, ‘Archie’s Warriors’ in honour of their beautiful boy with the aim of bringing ‘Memories for Life’ to children in long term hospital care in Dorset and Hampshire.

On 16th May a ‘Colour Run’ was held at the Great Field, Poundbury, only using red coloured powder as a nod to Archie’s favourite colour and his flame red hair.

Archie was a much loved Dorchester Boy and KeeP 106 was honoured to provide the PA facilities for the event and some background music to help the runners get going.

You can find out more about the charity here: www.archieswarriors.com/

The KeeP 106 team at the event was Andy Worth, Steve Bulley and Andy Venton.

Below is an audio piece by Andy Worth and photos of the occasion by Steve Bulley.
