Prince of Wales First School gate damaged

On Friday morning last week, the school was greeted with a terrible sight!

Tyre tracks leading up to the gate post suggest a large vehicle hit the post late Thursday night (after 9:00pm on 31/01/19) or early Friday morning (before 6:00am on 01/02/19).

Before children arrived on Friday the school safely removed the gate and demolished the post.

The school has assured the public they will get the gate post re-built as soon as possible. They have already started to gain quotes for this work.

If anyone witnessed the above incident or has any further information, please let the school know by emailing Mr. Spracklen – headteacher@princeofwales.dorset.sch.uk
