UPDATED: Witness appeal following collision near Sherborne

UPDATE 9th April 2019: Police say the colour of the Ford Focus is silver, not blue as previously stated.

At around 5.55am on Friday 5 April 2019 a two-vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the A352 at Middlemarsh, near to the Hunters Moon public house. The vehicles involved were a silver Ford Focus estate that was travelling toward Dorchester and a grey Volkswagen Passat travelling in the opposite direction.

The drivers of both vehicles sustained injuries that required hospital treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.

Police Constable James Curtis, of Dorchester Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this collision and I would like to hear from any witnesses to the incident or the manner of driving of the vehicles involved prior to it.

“I would also urge any motorists who were travelling in the area at the relevant time with dashcam fitted to their vehicles to check their footage.”
