Calling All Bakers

Are you the next Mary Berry or Prue Leath? If so Taylors Animal Centre on the Kingston Maurward Estate would love to hear from you.

This unique charity, run by RSPCA West Dorset, is celebrating a very special birthday this year. It’s been 15 years since the centre opened and at our popular, annual open day this year on August 11th we will be celebrating our crystal anniversary in style. Joined by Dorchester’s Mayor, we will be holding a special cake cutting ceremony.

For such a special occasion though we need a special cake.

This is where we need your help. A birthday party is nothing without a showstopper of a birthday cake. Could you be our star baker? If you think you could donate and bake a cake for this unique charity please get in contact with Taylors either via their twitter site @rspcawestdorset or phone the centre on 01305 259672.
