Thomas Hardye School to present ambitious concert

The Thomas Hardye School have a very exciting and ambitious concert planned for November 16th in St Mary’s Church Dorchester.

The Thomas Hardye Singers accompanied by an orchestra made up of 25 Thomas Hardye School students and 35 professionals, will be performing the following programme:

1st half: Puccini’s Messa di Gloria (soloists Jon Valendar & Andrew Foan)

2nd half: Mozart’s Flute Concerto No.1 (1st movt), Vivaldi’s Bassoon Concerto in D minor (1st movt), and the grand finale, Finzi’s magnificent ceremonial ode For St Cecilia.

Tickets are priced at £10 or £2 for students, and are available from the Dorchester Corn Exchange and from the Thomas Hardye School office.
