Dorset Police would like to advise members of the public that the technical difficulty with the 101 non-emergency telephone number has now been fixed.
Engineers were looking into the fault, which was reported on Monday 30 December 2019, and worked closely with the service provider to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
The emergency number 999 was not affected. If you, or someone you know is in immediate danger, or you are reporting a crime in progress – please dial 999.
