Rain causes havoc for homes and roads in Dorchester

A heavy band of rain that hit Dorset today has caused chaos for homeowners and businesses across the area this afternoon.

The A35 Dorchester bypass was also flooded in a number of areas causing widespread delays on routes across the town.

Residents across the town found their properties and cars submerged with businesses also underwater.

KeeP 106 was also affected with studio 1 becoming flooded during Rob Mott’s KeeP Driving Show!

The Met Office have issued a further warning tomorrow for heavy showers and thunderstorms that could bring further disruption, especially for transport.

These pictures have been sent in to us from our listeners.
