POW School Remember

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Prince of Wales First School were not able to take part, as normal, in Dorchester’s Remembrance Sunday Commemorations yesterday (Sunday 8 Nov).

Instead, four Year 4 children and two members of staff conducted a small and socially distanced Act of Remembrance at the war memorial in Dorchester this morning (Monday 9 Nov).

They played the last post, observed two minutes silence and laid a wreath in remembrance of all those who gave their lives for the freedoms we have today.

A video of the occasion can be found on the KeeP 106 Facebook page: facebook.com/keep1063 (be sure to enable the audio)
