Next of kin appeal – Betty Maynard

Dorset Police have issued an appeal on behalf of the Coroner for Dorset who is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin for a woman who died in Dorchester.

Betty Maynard, who was 95 years old, died at her home in Coburg Road on Tuesday 8 December 2020.

Her death is not suspicious and no police investigation is needed into her death.

Coroner’s Officer Sharon Emmerson said: “We are not treating her death as suspicious, however, we have not been able to locate her next of kin.

“If any member of the public has any knowledge of her family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 454767 or 01202 454910.”
