Covid update for Dorset 23 July

Stay safe and help prevent the spread of COVID-19

As England has moved into Step 4 and most legal restrictions have been lifted, everybody needs to continue to act carefully and remain cautious.

The requirement to wear face coverings in law has been lifted. However, it is recommended that people wear face coverings in crowded areas including public transport.

Where possible, you should limit the close contact you have with those you do not usually live with and increase close contact gradually.

Fresh air helps to stop the spread of COVID-19. Where there is more fresh air to breathe, it is less likely that a person will inhale infection particles. Therefore, it’s important that if you are meeting others that you meet outside where you can. If you are meeting indoors, make sure to keep windows and doors open to keep places ventilated.
