Hold a cuppa or two for the Air Ambulance Crew

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance has launched its latest fundraising initiative, ‘Brew for the Crew.’

Brew for the Crew is a self-led, fun, corporate and community fundraising activity which anyone can get involved with. It’s an opportunity to get friends, family, colleagues, or even the wider community together for a catchup, a good old cup of brew and some lovely treats, whilst fundraising to help the charity continue saving lives across Dorset and Somerset.

It’s free to sign up! By doing so you’ll get everything you need to promote your event and make it a success as the charity has created a number of downloadable resources to help. You;ll get access to a fundraising pack full of tips and ideas, resources such as template posters and invitations and other materials such as cake recipe cards, cake toppers and bunting!

Anyone, at any time, could need the air ambulance team and their specialist skills. Operational for 19 hours every day of the year, their work is often the difference between life and death. With no direct funding from the Government or the National Lottery, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance needs to raise £10m every year, with each mission costing approximately £3,500. This new initiative is a great and easy way of helping them to achieve this and showing your support to such a worthwhile cause.

Emma Jones, DSAA’s Fundraising Manager said:

“Brew for the Crew is such a lovely, simple way of raising funds for our life-saving charity. It’s a fantastic way of getting people together and enjoying a good cuppa and treats! Whether you hold your event at work, at home, as a group within the community, or at school, your support will make a huge difference and enable us to be there for patients today, tomorrow and in the future. So, gather your friends, family and colleagues, put the kettle on and enjoy yourself whilst supporting our cause. Every pound you raise will go towards our life-saving missions, helping us to be there when patients need us the most.”
