Cycling & Hiking for MND in epic style!

Starting on Tuesday 22nd April a Weymouth man supported by his partner is embarking on an amazing journey from Land’s End to John O’ Groats to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease.

But, for Paul Whitehead, it’s not just any old trek to the far north of the UK. Paul thought that just a cycle ride might be a bit boring so on the way he’ll be visiting and climbing the UK’s highest peaks, Snowden, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, hopefully completing the whole challenge in just two weeks!

Paul’s trip will be covered on Instagram: paulwhiteheadMND. Please donate if you can and give him a wave and cheer if you spot him! Plus there will be updates on our KeeP Driving show.

Our reporter Rob Mott spoke to Paul a couple of days before he started his journey to find out just why he is taking on this epic challenge…

Please donate to Paul’s cause here: www.gofundme.com/f/cycling-and-hiking-for-mnd

Paul is a keen cyclist and with his love of cycling and climbing he’s recently been training hard to complete this personal challenge.

The photos below show Paul in training, and of his partner Gwen who will be supporting him by arranging accommodation, food, drink and cream for his sensitive parts!
