On Good Friday, Weymouth led their National League South visitors, Salisbury City, by 2 goals to nil at halftime, but following the break, the Terras conceded twice without adding to their total, making the final score Weymouth 2, Salisbury City 2.
Tom Bearwish and Jake McCarthy scoring the Weymouth goals.
Dorchester continued their Southern Premier League play-off push at Frome, with their recent signing Brett Pitman being both hero and villain.
The former Bournemouth man scored the Magpies’ winner in the 89th minute of the 90, then 5 minutes into overtime he saw the wrath of the referee, who condemned him to an early shower following a rash challenge.
Dorchester’s Polish striker Olaf Koszela netted the Magpies’ other 2 goals, both penalties to take his total for the season to 26.
On Easter Saturday, Portland United travelled to Christchurch but returned to Grove Corner minus any Wessex Premier League points, going down by 4 goals to 1, the Blues’ only score coming courtesy of Josh Camp.
Bridport ended their Southwest Peninsular League East season with a 4 goals to 2 victory at St Mary’s against Axminster Town, leaving them in 3rd place in the table with 59 points, 10 behind league champions Sidmouth.
The Bees’ scores coming from Stef Stavrianos with a penalty and a goal each from Riley Weedon, Harry Burwood and George Geraghty. On Sunday, Dorchester Ladies hosted Bridport Ladies Reserves and won the one-sided encounter by 13 goals to nil.

It was a game of high emotions at the Avenue Stadium on Monday afternoon when Poole Town came calling.
The Magpies needed to win both of their remaining Southern Premier League matches to guarantee themselves a place in the promotion play-offs and Poole are languishing too close for comfort to the league drop zone and also required all 3 league points to relieve the threat of relegation.
It all began well for Dorchester, and in the 10th minute Matt Buse put them ahead with a shot from the edge of the box. The lead lasted 25 minutes when former Weymouth player Ezio Touray headed home unchallenged from a corner to level the scores.
With 65 minutes on the watch, Touray put the Dolphins in front with a strike low into the Magpies’ net.
Two minutes later, Marcus Daws levelled the score again for Dorchester, forcing the ball across the goal line from close in.
Then in the 77th minute, Wes Fogden was upended just inside the Poole penalty area, and the referee Paul Barber, pointed towards the penalty spot.

Left Dorchester striker Olaf Koszela celebrates converting his spot kick at the Avenue Stadium on Monday afternoon as the Poole Goalkeeper Ben Taylor roars in anguish.
Firstly, it looked like sub Brett Pitman was going to take the spot kick, but he handed the ball over for Olaf Koszela to drive into the back of the Poole net and retore the Magpies lead that they managed to hold on to until Mr Barber blew to call the proceedings to a close signaling jubilations amongst the Dorchester faithful.
Dorchester must now win away against Hungerford Town next Saturday, which will be no easy task.
Already relegated, Weymouth went down at Plainmoor, beaten by Torquay by 3 goals to nil.
