Boptober 2025 will be here soon raising funds for for Keep 106 and Poole and District Children’s Cancer Fund.
Join us in Dorchester’s Corn Exchange on October 2nd from 7 until 11 pm and get ready to bop the night away with 3 incredible bands to help us get moving and enjoy ourselves.
Brand new 6 piece band, Cosmic Dustbin, are going to kick off the night with a selection of Funk hits that we know and love. These teens are just embarking on their musical journey but they are very much, ones to watch!
Next up, we have the incredibly talented Vanilla Radio. Emerging from the depths of Dorset, Vanilla Radio made their mark on the funk scene in 2013, enchanting audiences along the south coast with their soulful and funky rhythms. Their music features explosive guitar and keyboard solos, thunderous bass lines, and infectious drum breaks that are sure to get you grooving. They aren’t called The Funk Explosion for no reason!
And then finally, topping off a brilliant night of music, we have Hustle. Hustle are a professional party covers band. Playing disco, soul, and pop party anthems you just have to dance to!
The event will have tables and chairs available for resting your dancing feet between acts. There will also be a raffle and The Corn Exchange has a brand new bar to try out!
Tickets are just £15 each and we recommend you get them soon before they sell out. They can be purchased here: ticketor.com/grinningdogrecords/boptober
The event is being sponsored once again by Echotown Studio with additional support from Newburys Gardens Services who are sponsoring the posters.
We’re sure you will have the best time and all proceeds will be split between our treasured volunteer-run local radio station, Keep 106, and the hardworking team at Poole and District Children’s Cancer Fund, who enhance the quality of life for local children and their families undergoing treatment for cancer.
