Weymouth Football Club have announced that they have parted company with both the Chairman, Paul Maitland and First Team Manager, Warren Feeney.
A statement issued by the club relating to Mr Maitland reads:
“The Board wishes to inform our supporters that over the weekend we have, with regret, accepted the resignation of Paul Maitland as Chairman of Weymouth Football Club. Paul will be stepping down from his role with immediate effect.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Paul for his dedication and service to the club. A further statement will be issued in the coming days.”
A second statement concerning Mr Feeney reads:
“Weymouth Football Club can confirm that we have parted company with Warren Feeney as First Team Manager.
“We would like to place on record our thanks to Warren for his efforts during his time with the club, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
“A follow-up statement regarding the First Team Manager position will be issued in due course.”
