Weymouth’s SandWorld Sculpture Park is showing its appreciation for the region’s everyday heroes this November, offering free entry to Blue Light Card holders and their families.
From Monday 3rd to Sunday 9th November 2025, NHS staff, members and veterans of the UK Armed Forces, emergency service workers, and other Blue Light Card holders can enjoy complimentary entry to explore the UK’s only sand sculpture park, located at Lodmoor Country Park in Weymouth.
SandWorld’s team say the gesture is a small way to thank those who dedicate their lives to keeping others safe and well. The park features awe-inspiring sand sculptures created by world-class artists, each crafted entirely from just sand and water. This year’s exhibition includes Sudarsan Pattnaik’s breathtaking Ganesh, Marielle Heessels’ thought-provoking Free Your Mind, and so many more.
Visitors can also get hands-on by sculpting their own creations in the giant all-weather sand pits, making sand art bottles, or relaxing in the on-site café.
Mark Anderson and David Hicks, Co-Founders of SandWorld, said:
“We’re proud to welcome Dorset’s heroes and their families to enjoy a day out on us. It’s a small token of appreciation for everything they do and a great way to end our 2025 season with the community that’s supported us from the very beginning.”
To take advantage of this offer, visitors simply need to present a valid Blue Light Card at the entrance. Each card admits the user and up to four family members free of charge.
SandWorld is open daily from 10.30am until the end of its season on Sunday 9th November 2025.
