On 9th November the County Town came together to pay tribute to those who made the supreme sacrifice during two world wars and other conflicts. The annual Service of Remembrance was held as usual at the town’s War Memorial in South Walks and was attended by the Mayor and Mayoress, Town Councillors, West Dorset MP, representatives of local organisations and several hundred members of the public who came to pay their respects to the fallen. KeeP 106 broadcast the ceremony live and provided the audio for a video of the occasion. You can hear a recording of the broadcast here…
The video of the ceremony was made by Pageant Productions and you can view it by following this link: https://youtu.be/Sd3xfHIoRUM
