Weymouth Fire Station set to hold Christmas Cracker Open Day

Weymouth Fire Station is set to hold its annual Christmas Cracker Open Day on Sunday 7 December, between 10am and 2pm.

Visit Santa’s Grotto, meet your local firefighters and browse the craft fair stalls.

Watch Manager David Allan said: “We’re excited to see everyone at our annual Christmas Open Day and get the festivities started. The open day will feature a range of family-friendly activities, and there will be a chance to visit Santa’s Grotto, enjoy the BBQ, as well as lots of safe fire-related activities.”

Other activities include Stalls, an Ice cream van, and an attending Choir. All proceeds will be going to the Fire Fighters Charity.

There will also be an opportunity to discuss fire safety and arrange home fire safety visits where necessary. Home safety visits provide advice about cooking and electrical safety, escape plans, and free smoke alarm checks.

Weymouth Fire Station can be found on Radipole Lane, Weymouth.
