Police keep a close eye on some youths in Weymouth on Easter Monday

Idris Martin reporting.

Local Police are using an “eye in the sky”  to monitor Weymouth Town Centre in anticipation of nipping any trouble in the bud before round two of the Ridgeway Rumble football match this afternoon at the Bob Lucas Stadium between Weymouth and Portland Football teams.

One onlooker who declined to be named said, “Apparently, some youths have been trying to get into the local pubs and have been denied entry, so it looks like the police are keeping a close eye on them with a drone”.
