Congratulations go to Dorchester Rugby Club players Callum Angell and Flynn Drumund who have both been selected to represent their club and the Dorset & Wilts RFU in the South West Region Under 20 squad.
Weymouth Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Wes Fogden, subject to FA approval.
Fogden ended last season as the Dorchester interim manager and the former Bournemouth and Brighton player has elected to travel over the Ridgeway and agreed terms with the Terras, he brings a wealth of experience to the Bob Lucas Stadium, with appearances covering League One down to Step 3.
Jason Matthews, Weymouth’s Director of Football said, “I’d personally like to welcome Wes to the Bob Lucas Stadium. I’m sure his experience will help us massively.”
Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Ryan Hall is re-joining the club ahead of the 2026/27 season on a permanent deal.
The former Magpie enjoyed a loan spell at The Avenue Stadium from Aldershot Town during the 2022/23 season, making 30 appearances for the club, and now joins on a permanent basis ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Following his time with Aldershot, the number one spent two campaigns with Isthmian Premier Division side Bognor Regis Town before linking up with boss Glenn Howes, who also signed him during his initial loan spell at The Avenue, at Gosport Borough last season.
On agreeing to join the club on a permanent deal, Hall said: “I’m delighted to be back at this amazing football club.
“I really enjoyed my time here a few seasons ago and looking forward to playing in front these brilliant supporters again.
“I can’t wait to get out on the pitch and be a part of a brilliant season and get this club back up.”
Weymouth Football Club can confirm the departures of first-team coaches Lee Spalding and Charlie Griffin.
The club would like to thank Lee and Charlie for all of their efforts last season and wish them all the best for the future and have begun the process of appointing their replacements to strengthen the first-team coaching staff, which includes the search for a new goalkeeping coach.
