Appeal for information following burglary at Maiden Newton Fire Station

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a fire station.

We received a report at 11.34am on Saturday 13 June 2026 of a break-in at Maiden Newton fire station. 

It was reported that damage had been caused to windows and equipment had been stolen from within the station.

The incident was reported to have occurred overnight between Friday 12 June and Saturday 13 June 2026.

Police Constable Richard Robson, of Dorset Police, said: “We have launched a full investigation into this incident and are carrying out detailed enquiries to identify those involved.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of the fire station overnight between Friday 12 June and Saturday 13 June 2026, or who may have captured relevant CCTV footage, to please contact us.”
