Community Screening of the National Emergency Briefing Film and Discussion

Members of the public are invited to join St George’s Church, Fordington, and Dorchester Churches Together for a free showing of the National Emergency Briefing film on climate change and its effect on nature.

This high-profile brief, held in Westminster in November 2025, informed an invited audience of over 1,200 leaders – including politicians, business executives, and the media – on issues our planet and communities are facing. Ten leading experts delivered clear-eyed assessments on our climate and nature, with a view to bringing hope of solutions to tackle these issues.

The screening and discussion is to share ideas of what is already being done in the community and local churches, but also to think about new possibilities going forward. Members of the town council and from the local climate action groups have also been invited for the discussions and to share their current projects.

The screening and discussion will take place at St Georges Church, Fordington, Dorchester on 23rd July at 7:00 pm.

All Are Welcome – Come and Share Your Thoughts. For further information look at the Facebook pages for St George’s Church which includes a link to book a free ticket under the events tab.
