Appeal following report of outraging public decency in Weymouth

Police 0fficers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a report of outraging public decency in Weymouth.

It is reported that at around 9.45pm on Saturday 1 August 2026 a man was seen performing an indecent act through a window at an address in The Esplanade.

Police Constable Sam Welch, of Weymouth police, said: “Behaviour of this nature is not acceptable, and we are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances.

“I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our investigation.

“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the area of The Esplanade around the relevant time to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
