Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Weymouth

Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a burglary in Weymouth.

At around 4am on Tuesday 27 August 2019 a burglary occurred at Ferrybridge Marine Ltd on Ferrymans Way.

Two Seadoo GTX 300 jet skis, a jet ski cover, two boat covers, a wakeboard and a red inflatable Quicksilver rib were stolen.

It is reported that a white van with a trailer was used to remove some of the items from the site.

Police Community Support Investigator Lauren Gibbins, of Weymouth police, said: “I have been carrying out a number of enquiries to try and locate the stolen items and identify the offenders.

“I am appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and may have relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the relevant time.

“If you have seen any of the stolen items for sale in unusual circumstances, please contact Dorset Police.”
