Flood Alert: Weymouth Rivers and Streams

A Flood Alert has been issued by the Environment Agency.

Flooding is possible for: The River Wey to Radipole Lake, Preston Brook and River Jordan.

River levels have risen at the Broadwey river gauge as a result of the ground being saturated and reacting to this afternoon’s rainfall.  We believe there is a possibility of flooding for the River Wey to Radipole Lake, Preston Brook and River Jordan.

Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.

  • Visit the GOV.UK website to see the current flood warnings, view river and sea levels or check the 5-day flood risk forecast: https://flood-warning-information.service.gov.uk/target-area/111WAFWEYR
