Park and ride to re-open

Weymouth’s park and ride is due to be re-opened by July 17 – in time for the start of the school holidays.

The car park is currently closed while the military use it as a drive-in for coronavirus testing .

Dorset Council says the testing will continue when the park and ride re-opens with new signs so that people don’t end up in the wrong queue.

First Wessex buses will pick up, as before, from the bus stop on Mercery Road. They plan to increase the frequency of the bus on Saturdays, starting on 12th July
