Chef announces the opening of new restaurant in Dorchester

Luciano Pierre White proudly announces the launch of his first Italian restaurant, as the young chef opens his first venue at Dorchester’s Brewery Square.

Luccio’s is Luciano Pierre White’s first business venture, promising classic Italian cuisine at affordable prices, together with a friendly service. The menu features dishes including ‘Maria Rosa Meatballs’ – the name of which honours Luciano’s Italian grandmother.

Other signature dishes pay homage to Italy’s first 3 Michelin starred chef Gualtiero Marchesi’s spaghetti al caviar and Home-made Gnocchi with ragu bolognese.

Luciano, the son of celebrated UK chef and businessman Marco Pierre White designed the menu and will lead the team of chefs at Luccio’s.

Luciano Pierre White said: “I’m excited to be launching my first restaurant in the heart of Dorchester’s thriving shopping and eating hub.”

The menu centres around classically prepared dishes using the best local fresh produce and Italian suppliers, for authentic flavours.

From a young age, Luciano has spent time in the kitchen with his father and has refined his skills through working at Pierre Koffmann’s restaurant at the Berkeley Hotel, Albert and Ferran Adria restaurant in Barcelona, Tickets (a two Michelin star restaurant) and has experience assisting in the opening of the English House boutique hotel in Singapore.

Luccio’s will be open from Saturday 10th October

Luccio’s joins Brewery Square’s existing range of eateries including Pizza Express, Zizzi, Nando’s, Cote Brasserie, Wagamama, Thyme, Hendover Café, Brewhouse & Kitchen, Costa Coffee, Vivo Lounge and Cream’s Café.

Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, commented: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the success of our eateries re-opening, with the Government’s Eat Out To Help Out Scheme particularly driving significant sale spikes. The arrival of Luccio’s is testament to this success and we’re delighted that Luciano has chosen Brewery Square to begin his exciting new restaurant business. We can’t wait to welcome more hungry diners to Brewery Square to experience it for themselves!”
