The Queen’s Jubilee – street closures

Do you want to close a road for a street party?

Dorset Council is currently welcoming applications to close roads for street parties to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The council is trying to make it as easy as possible to support communities getting together safely but, if you wish to close a road or pavement, there is a process which needs to be followed.

Everything about closing a street for your knees-up can be found online and applications should be in by Thursday 21 April. Get your application in now!
