Bridoprt travelled to Torrington for a Southwest Peninsular East fixture and returned from Devon with 2 goals to 1 victory in the bank.
The Bees’ 2 goals coming from Jamie Cox and Callum Arnold.
On Sunday afternoon Weymouth women’s team travelled to play Feniton Women and won the game by 5 goals to 1, Bianca Randall netted twice for the Terras’ ladies with Zara Hunt, Annie Redding and Ellia Webb all scoring a goal each.
A fumbled cross by Dartford goalkeeper Jack McIntyre in the 6th minute of the game was enough to see Weymouth claim their first National League South victory of the season at the Bob Lucas Stadium on Saturday.
The goal was credited to Terras’ Joel Rollinson who crossed the ball in from the left wing, but it should have been meat and drink to Rollinson who clasped the ball in his grasp then fell backwards into his own goal and his error cost his team all 3 league points.
Our correspondent at the game said: ” In the first half we could have scored in the opening seconds and then again, a couple of minutes later before we took the lead.
“In the second half Dartford seemed to up their game, but the Terras matched them in every aspect and fully deserved the result”.
His man of the match was Dan Roberts: “Covered every blade of grass on the park”.
Dorchester were left fuming at the Avenue Stadium when the referee Paul Barber added an additional 8 minutes of extra time and then played on for a further 4 in which time their visitors Harrow Borough managed to equalise with a late strike from Reece Mitchell to make the final score 2 goals each with both teams sharing 1 Southern League point apiece.
The Magpies took the lead in the 6th minute with a far post header from Shaq Gwengwe, then the 17th minute Borough levelled the score through Excellence Muhemba who slid the ball past home keeper Lloyd Thomas into the empty net.

It was nip and tuck for the remainder of the first half, that was until the 3rd minute of added on time when the Magpies striker Leighton Thomas saw red.

Excellence Muhemba equalises for the visitors

Leighton Thomas sees red and is ordered off the park by referee Mr Barber
He was bundled over from behind on halfway, he reacted and appeared to lash out with his foot into the midriff of right back Barsa Mirtahmasebi who ended doubled up on the ground clutching his groin.
The referee had witnessed the incident and immediately brandished the red card and ordered Thomas to leave the park.
Now a man down it was all hands to the pumps after the break. But in the 57th minute Gwengwe burst into the visitor’s penalty area and contested the ball with Borough defender Trisan Vernal, with both players in contact Gwengwe was upended and Mr Barber awarded Dorchester a penalty kick.
Up stepped Gwengwe and slotted the ball past Borough custodian Tyler Tobin to put the Magpies 2 goals to 1 in front much against the run of play.
Now defending as if their lives depended upon it, Dorchester ran down the clock until Mr Barber indicated there would be an additional 8 minutes of play and the rest is history.
In the Western League Portland United came from 2 goals down at Grove Corner to level the score at 2 goals apiece and salvage a point.
