A man has been arrested in connection with a reported burglary in Dorchester.
It was reported that between 1.40am and 1.50am on Saturday 30 December 2023 a man entered Eleanor Nursing & Social Care in Bridport Road and stole a bank card.
The bank card was subsequently alleged to have been used to carry out fraudulent transactions in the Poole area.
Following enquiries by officers and a CCTV appeal, a 47-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He has been released under investigation as further enquiries are conducted.
In the original appeal for information Dorset Police have told KeeP 106 that the location of the theft stated in their press release was Bluebird Care West Dorset. However, this was incorrect and after clarification from officers they now confirm that the location was Eleanor & Social Care in Bridport Road as shown above.
