Already relegated from the National League South, Weymouth had little more than pride to play for at Maidstone on Saturday. However, the Terras managed to deny the Stones all 3 league points with the game remaining goalless.

Dorchester moved back into the Southern Premier League playoff zone courtesy of a 60th-minute Olaf Koszela penalty against visitors Walton & Hersham. There was no further scoring, so the final result was Dorchester 1 Walton & Hersham nil.

Portland United lost by 2 goals to nil away against AFC Porchester, while Bridport won at Crediton by 4 goals to 1.

Steff Stavrianos netted twice for the Bees, with Riley Weedon and Joe Charles both adding a goal each.

The Bees Reserve side lost 3 goals to 1 at home against Blandford, while their development side also went down away at Longfleet 4-2.

Weymouth & Portland rugby club’s first team progressed into the final of the Dorset & Wilts Clive Drake cup with a narrow 19 points to 18 victory in Salisbury against Wheatsheaf Cabin Crew, but the Seasiders will have to wait until next week to see who they will meet in the final.

On Sunday, Weymouth Football Club’s women’s team lost by 2 goals to 1 at Plympton, Emily Screen scoring the Terras’ goal.

Dorchester Ladies drew 2 goals each at home against Shaftsbury Ladies, Namoni Johnson and Harriet Johnston netting the Magpies scores. Bridport Ladies put 3 goals into the Ilminster net with no replay from their hosts and Weymouth Women’s Development side beat Bournemouth Electric away by a goal to nil.
