Extra Sunday bus services will continue into the summer through Poundbury.
The service has run through the Duchy of Cornwall estate as an experiment during the winter.
Now the No 10 service will continue to run into Poundbury every 20 minutes during the day, connecting residents to Dorchester town centre and Weymouth.
Said Stewart Palmer, Chair of the Dorset Transport Action Group (DTAG) : “DTAG persuaded First Wessex to extend the No 10 bus through Poundbury on winter Sundays.
“We asked that this be continued during the summer 2026.
“I am pleased to tell you that First Wessex has agreed to continue this.”
The service will run on the extended route on Sundays, including Mansell Square, Middle Farm Way, and stops near Queen Mother Square, operating less frequently in the early morning and late evening.
The X51 Sunday service will also continue to run every two hours during the summer through Poundbury.
In a message to residents on the Duchy estate Mr Palmer said: “So if you are off to Weymouth on Sundays – just catch the 10 bus.
“Please ‘use it or lose it.’”
