Former Dorchester Town striker Shaq Gwengwe, who left the County Town club to move to Poole Town last season, has been recruited by League Two side Newport County.

The ex-Magpie secured the move to the English Football League outfit after netting 47 goals for the Dolphins in all competitions.

Gwengwe exited Dorchester in 2025 after three years at The Avenue Stadium.
