This is your chance to try Bowls. There is no charge and a free coffee and slice of cake is included. All equipment is provided. Just wear thick socks for when you are on the rink. Coaches will be on hand to guide you and helpers to show you round the club. There is free parking and wheelchair access. All ages welcome. A course for beginners will follow, starting on Sunday 16th February.

Declutter by getting your broken items fixed by skilled volunteers. 20 volunteer repairers fix your broken items for 2 hours while you watch. We fix electronics, Electrical, Technology – laptops and gadgets, Mechanical, Tool sharpening, Gluing, Clocks and Sewing. Also, jewellery repairs for the first time in 2 years! We don’t charge; we just ask for a donation. Free parking.

Author & Keep Museum volunteer, Christopher Jary,  has written & edited military histories.  His interest is in the people and telling their stories in their own words.  On D-Day, the first British infantry to land on the Normandy beaches were 231 Malta Brigade including the 1st Dorsets, who landed at 0730 east of Arromanches above Bayeux. Christopher tells their 6th June story. Entry £6.

A great quiz with a twist. Many of the rounds are questions direct from TV shows. The Chase, Only Connect, Mastermind, and other rounds. A buffet meal. An Artsreach event at Woodlands Village Hall: Arthur Coates and Kerran Cotterell are an exciting and energetic young folk duo who are quickly carving out a name for themselves with their unique style rooted in Quebecois traditional music fused with songs from the British Isles and North America. Events across Dorchester

A journey through Brownsea Island’s rich history, explore the island and the castle’s picturesque grounds. Bridport’s WDS invite you to Come-&-Sing selections from Carmina Burana with them under Matt Kingston, the WDS Music Director. Registration from 1pm. This performance of J S Bach’s Mass in B Minor will be the farewell concert conducted by Colin Howard as Director of Music of Dorchester Choral Society. He has led the choir for ten fruitful years. With the Salisbury Baroque orchestra and professional soloists Georgie Malcolm (Soprano), Abigail Hooper (Soprano), Guy James (Alto), Simon Irwin (Tenor) and Edward Caswell (Bass).
