A man has been interviewed and issued with a caution following an alleged assault on Portland.
It was reported that between 4.15pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday 7 June 2022 a 16-year-old boy was cycling past the Co-op store at Fortuneswell and became involved in a verbal exchange with a man who was leaving the store. The man then reportedly struck the boy on the back of the head before walking off.
The victim did not sustain any serious injuries.
Following a CCTV appeal and enquiries by officers, a man has attended for a voluntary police interview and was issued with a conditional caution.
