The North Dorset Beekeepers Association has just recently opened a splendid shiny new bee centre on the edge of Shillingstone, and Ian Condon told Jenny about what the Centre is for • Bob Maurer cut the ribbon to officially open the new centre and explains what the National Honey Show is, and praises the new bee centre in Shillingstone • Next, Roger Sewill and his black Dales pony Scarlet a rare breed pack horse which carried Roger’s camping and other kit as they made their way across Dorset from ancient hill fort to ancient hill fort, raising £1,500 for the Dorset Wildlife Trust on the way • Finally, 3 more people Andy Worth met at the April World Heritage Day and Jurassic Coast at 25 event held in Dorchester.
