Our man at the Match said, “A game very much of two halves with the Terras leading by 2 goals to 1 at half-time, but they could well have gone in on level terms as both teams had squandered scoring opportunities; however, after the interval the Terras came out with all guns blazing and never looked like surrendering their lead even when they lost Euan Pollock after he collected his second yellow card from the referee and was sent off, closely followed by the Magpies’ defender Corby Moore, who saw straight red for deliberately handling the ball on his own goal line”.
“The Terras adjusted better to the extra space on the park and took control of the game, and in the end thoroughly deserved their victory”.
And a big thank you must go to the medical team who rushed to the aid of a Terras fan who was taken ill during the half-time break. They stabilised him and monitored him throughout the second half, and he appeared to have made a full recovery at the end of the game.
