Dorset Art Weeks 2027: Registrations open 2nd November 2026

Registrations for Dorset Art Weeks 2027 open on 2 November 2026. Dorset’s artists and makers have until 9 December to register their venue and sign up for the largest visual arts event of its kind in the county. Dorset Art Weeks runs for 17 days from 15 – 31 May 2027, with the opportunity to explore an extraordinary variety of art, from traditional to contemporary, showcased by Dorset’s talented artists, makers, and designers.

Meet the Makers

This vibrant event, now held annually, invites the public to explore hundreds of venues across the county, including artists’ open studios, workshops, group shows, and curated exhibitions. It’s a unique opportunity to meet artists, from emerging talents to established professionals. In addition, you can purchase original art and crafts for your home, whilst celebrating and supporting your local creative community.

What’s New for 2027

The move to an annual format aims to encourage more visitors and foster consistent engagement with Dorset’s diverse and talented creative community year after year. Participants are encouraged to seek new venues and explore different ways to show their work too. Whether a private studio hidden down a garden path, a barn, church or gallery, the event provides the perfect platform to explore cultural Dorset and make new discoveries.

Dorset Art Weeks 2027 also marks the 250th anniversary of Dorset Art Weeks’ headline sponsor, Hall & Woodhouse, and there will be some special events to celebrate this!
