Wareham Forest Fire flares up again

The Bere Regis crew from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue say that they have returned to the fire in Wareham Forest multiple times, most recently for 11 hours. Twenty Five fire engines plus more specialist vehicles are again required at the incident which was started several days ago by a BBQ/camp fire. The Bere Crew also point out that they haven’t stopped protecting the rest of the community in the mean time, rescuing someone locked in a building and putting out a bonfire since the forest incident began.

KeeP 106 understands that Bere Road between Sugar Hill, Bere Regis, and Wareham is likely to remain closed all weekend.
