Single vehicle collision on Portland – witness appeal

Police officers investigating a single-vehicle collision on Portland are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

The incident on Portland Bridge Road was reported to Dorset Police at approximately 6pm on Sunday 10 September 2023 and involved a black Audi TT Quattro. No injuries were reported.

A 26-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences. He has been released under investigation.

Police Constable Joseph Henderson said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or the manner of driving of the vehicle. I would also like to speak to anyone who was driving along the road at the time with dashcam footage.”
