Marathon in a Month, a new fundraising challenge for the Air Ambulance

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance has announced a brand-new challenge which will begin this April called ‘Marathon in a Month.’  This exciting new event invites everyone to walk, run, or even swim your way to 26.2 miles and every step, stroke or stride you take will help to save lives!

Tackle the challenge all in one go or spread the miles out over the month – it’s your challenge so complete it at your own pace! Whether you lace up your trainers, dive into the pool, or set out on your favourite trail, sign up today and be a part of something special.

It’s free to sign up and you will receive a complimentary t-shirt to wear once you have activated your fundraising page, so you can look great whilst clocking up those miles! Plus, there are exciting rewards and a special medal for those who complete the challenge and meet their fundraising goals!

Tracy Bartram, DSAA’s Communications Manager said:

“Our challenges have historically been a fantastic hub of engagement for everyone who takes part. The online challenge group is a wonderful space for people to share their journey with others. It contains messages of support, photos of people’s progress and encouragement at all times – I am sure that our brand-new Marathon in a Month will be no exception! We are really excited to see what everyone gets up to and we will be cheering them on every step of the way.”
