Electric motorcycles stolen from Winterbourne Abbas business – Police appeal for information

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a commercial burglary near Dorchester.

Between 1am and 1.10am on Tuesday 29 April 2025 access was gained to Dorchester Collection in Winterbourne Abbas and two black Coafen F80 electric motorcycles were stolen.

It was reported that the motorcycles were loaded onto a Ford Transit Custom van, which then left the scene in the direction of Dorchester on the A35.

Police Constable Jack White, of West Dorset police, said: “We are carrying out a detailed investigation into this commercial burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has any information that might assist our enquiries.

“I would also urge any motorists who were driving in the area of the Winterbourne Abbas around the relevant time to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything that might help us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250059988. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
