Dorchester Football Club Press Release:
Dorchester Town Football Club can confirm that, in addition to the departures already announced, Luke Pardoe, Tom Smith, Marcel McIntosh and Charlie Wooding are all leaving the club this summer
After over 100 appearances and over two years at The Avenue, following discussions between Luke and the club, he has made the decision to move to a club closer to where he lives
Tom is currently recovering from ACL surgery and we wish him all the best with his rehabilitation
Marcel is living outside the local area and with the significant travel won’t be returning next season
After offering a new deal, Charlie has made the decision to depart to move to a Step 3 level club
We thank all players for their efforts while representing the club and wish them well for the future.
It’s not all bad news for Dorchester as midfielder Matt Buse has confirmed that he will be turning out for the Magpies next season.
Dorchester Town FC Press release below.
We are delighted to confirm @_mattbuse is staying at The Avenue ahead of the 2026/27 season
Extending his stay with the club for a third season, the central midfielder now has 66 appearances in black and white and was a near ever-present in the side during his debut season as we reached the play-offs
Following a brief loan spell under now Magpies boss Glenn Howes at Gosport Borough in the last campaign, the former Torquay United midfielder is ready to go again for the upcoming season at The Avenue.
Portland United’s young goalkeeper, Harry Foden spent a week in camp with the British Virgin Islands team.
The 19 year-old trained in Malaga with the national team, before starting and keeping a clean sheet against Bonaire, as the Nature Boys emerged 2-0 victors.
Foden spoke to us about the experience:
“To be called up to the national team was an honour and a great experience. Something I will hold onto forever. Onto the nations league in September.”
