The Weymouth 70.3 Iron Man takes place over the weekend with the international event starting at 7:15 am on Sunday morning on Preston Beach opposite the Sea Life Centre with a 1.9 KM swim, then the athletes go into transition and back out to start start their second discipline, a 90.8 KM bike race before returning to transition and setting out on a 21.3 KM run with the event finishing in front of the Pavilion Theatre.
Over 2700 competitors from all four corners of the globe have signed up for Sunday’s event.
