Many thousands are expected on Weymouth Esplanade this weekend as the Beach Motocross returns.
Dorchester face the Students of Hartpury College in a Southern League Division 1 fixture at the Avenue Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Students have made the journey to South Dorset before on the 12th of September when they played Weymouth in a FA Trophy tie and the game at full time was level at two goals each. However, the Terras progressed into the next round, outscoring their guests by 4 penalties to 3.
After the game, our Man at the Match stated that Hartpury were the best team he had seen at the Bob Lucas Stadium for a long time, and Weymouth were lucky to win, so Magpies beware.
In the same division, Weymouth manager Jamie Wells will be hoping that his team will be able to put last week’s poor display against South East Dons behind them when they visit Worcester Raiders and Portland host Sporting Club Inkberro at Grove Corner.
Bridport have a FA Vase tie at St. Mary’s where they entertain Cirencester.
